Venue and Access by Highway

The symposium takes place at Skamania Lodge ( in the Columbia River Gorge. The Lodge is located on the west edge of Stevenson, WA and has a beautiful hillside view of the Columbia River. The Lodge is about one hour east of Portland and is easily reached from the east or west via Interstate 84 (along the Oregon side of the Columbia River) to Cascade Locks, then across the Columbia River at Bridge of the Gods, and then a short distance east on Washington Highway 14. It is can also be accessed from east or west along Highway 14.

A lodging reservation deadline is set by Skamania Lodge: “Reservations made after 01/04/18 will be accepted on a space-available basis, at the higher of the contracted rate or prevailing rate of the day.” RRNW’s block of rooms will be held until January 4th and then released back into the general pool of rooms available to others (probably at a higher rate than the contracted rate).
