2025 Mentorship Program
When you register for the symposium consider participating in our 2025 mentorship program.
We are looking for 10 mentees and 10 mentors to participate in our six-month mentorship program.
Just check the box indicating your interest when you register for the symposium!
The purpose is for early career professionals to be connected with insights and guidance of ‘more experienced’ individuals in our community. Mentor-mentee programs play a vital role in transferring knowledge, supporting professional development, building confidence, and promoting retention and engagement in our fields.
The program commitment includes an introductory meeting (by email, phone, in-person, or virtual) before the Symposium, at least one in-person meeting during the Symposium, and then at least a monthly commitment for additional mentorship sessions/interactions (phone, in-person, or virtual) through June. The interaction format is informal (not planned by RRNW) and will look differently for each pair within this timeline but the expectation is these are meaningful connections.
For those who check the box during symposium registration, a follow-up email will be sent with the application link. Simply fill out that form and you will then be notified if you are selected to participate.
Based on feedback from last year we are only pairing mentees and mentors who are planning to attend the symposium. We heard the in-person connection the symposium presents was greatly valued.
Please reach out to mentorship@rrnw.org with any questions.
