Symposium Logistics and FAQs

To further support participation from Tribes, conservation districts, government agencies, and nonprofit organizations, we are offering group and individual discounts for virtual registration purchases:

Discounted Rate: $200 per qualifying registrant (standard virtual rate: $400). How it works: Each individual registers independently and will receive their own access link. Individuals provide organization details during registration.
Virtual Group Watch Party: $1,000 per group, with no limit on the number of people who may watch. How it works: Only the group coordinator receives the access link and the team gathers in a shared space to watch the livestream together. The group coordinator provides organization details during registration.

In-Person Cancellation Policy
➡️ Cancellations for all types of in-person registration (e.g. short courses, one-day registration and three-day registrations) must be submitted in writing to registrar@rrnw.org no later than January 8, 2027 to receive a refund, minus a $50 processing fee. No refunds will be issued for cancellations received after this date. No refunds will be given for field trip cancellations. All cancelled tickets will return to the pool and be available for purchase.
➡️ Transfer of registration from one attendee to another within the same organization may be allowed for a $50 processing fee. RRNW will not provide refunds or payment receipts for registration transfers. Please contact us at registrar@rrnw.org to arrange a substitution. No transfers are allowed after January 18, 2027.

Virtual Cancellation Policy
➡️ Cancellations must be submitted in writing to registrar@rrnw.org. Note the following refund schedule:
Before January 8, 2027: Cancellations received on or before this date will be refunded in full, minus a $25 processing fee.
January 8-22, 2027: Cancellations received during this period will be refunded 50% of the registration fee, minus a $25 processing fee.
After January 22, 2027: No refunds will be issued after this date.
➡️ No transfers will be allowed for the virtual option. If you register and later find you cannot attend live sessions, you will still have access to recorded content for a limited time after the event (30 days, until March 6, 2027).

Event Changes or Cancellations
In the unlikely event that the symposium is canceled or postponed, registered participants will be notified promptly and offered a full refund without processing fees.

Auditing Policy
➡️ Membership Registration Eligibility: We will be verifying membership status during Member Registration.
➡️ Student Eligibility: To qualify for the student registration rate, participants must attest their eligibility by completing the Student Verification Form no later than January 8, 2027. If verification is not received by the deadline, the student registration will be forfeited. The registrant may either:

- Request an upgrade to a standard registration (by paying the difference), or
- Cancel the registration in accordance with the cancellation policy listed above.

Waitlist
RRNW does not hold a waitlist once registration for in-person attendance is sold out.
