Policies
CANCELLATION POLICY
- Cancellations for all types of individual registration (e.g. short courses, 3-day, and 1-day registrations) must be submitted in writing to registrar@rrnw.org no later than January 9, 2026 to receive a refund, minus a $50 processing fee.
- No refunds will be issued for cancellations received after January 9, 2026.
- No refunds will be given for field trip cancellations.
- All cancelled tickets will return to the pool and be available for purchase.
TRANSFER POLICY
- Transfer of registration from one attendee to another within the same organization may be allowed for a $50 processing fee. Please contact us at registrar@rrnw.org to arrange a substitution.
- RRNW will not provide refunds or payment receipts for registration transfers.
AUDITING POLICY
- We will be verifying membership and student status.
- To qualify for the student registration rate, participants must attest their eligibility by completing the Student Verification Form no later than January 9, 2026. You may fill out the verification form after registering and the verification form will also be emailed to you. If verification is not received by the deadline, the student registration will be forfeited. The registrant may either:
- Request an upgrade to a standard registration (by paying the difference), or
- Cancel the registration in accordance with the cancellation policy listed above.
WAITLIST
- RRNW does not hold a waitlist once registration is sold out. If you would like to be notified if any additional in-person tickets become available, please fill out this interest form
Discounts are available for qualifying groups
- To further support participation from non-profit organizations, tribes, and government agencies, we are offering a group discount for virtual registration purchases of five or more tickets
- Discounted rate: $180 per attendee (standard virtual rate: $375)

Can I get a refund if I cancel?

Can I pay for the symposium by check?
Yes! Select “Invoice / Payment by check” on the checkout page of registration. Checks must be received by January 9, 2026.
Can I register early in November and pay by check in January?
Absolutely! We know that some spending and reimbursement rules make paying for the symposium in November difficult. However, if you are with an organization that has budget restrictions and need to pay after January 1, 2026, please register when registration opens and select “payment by check”. This will secure your spot and allow you to pay by the deadline on January 9, 2026.

What meals are included in the registration cost?
- Tuesday: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
- Wednesday: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
- Thursday: Breakfast and Lunch
- Snacks and coffee/tea will be provided throughout the duration.
Will there be hotel shuttle service?
Yes, shuttles to Skamania Lodge will be available at the Best Western Plus Columbia River Inn in Cascade Locks, Oregon, and at Carson Hot Springs Resort in Carson, Washington. Attendees are encouraged to carpool or shuttle to the Symposium due to limited parking. Learn more at Symposium Lodging and Hotel Shuttle Service.
How do I request a signed 889 form?
RRNW now has a Unique Entity ID (UEI) meaning that this form should no longer be necessary.
